    Celebrate the 2023 MYRAs!

    The Minnesota Youth Reading Awards -- home of the Star of the North and Maud Hart Lovelace awards -- and the Eden Prairie Library are pleased to present the 2023 MYRA Awards!

    James Ponti, author of the Maud Hart Lovelace Div I winner and Div II honorable mention, City Spies, will be there in person to accept their award. In addition, Vanessa Roeder, author of the Star of the North winner The Box Turtle, will also be there in person to accept her award. Join us as we celebrate these award winning titles and Minnesota readers everywhere!

    As always, our events are free for all! This is a family-friendly event. Red Balloon Bookshop will be selling books - be sure to meet James and Vanessa in person and get your copies signed!

It is Minnesota Youth Reading Awards' (MYRA's) purpose to administer yearly "read and vote" awards programs, providing nominee titles that offer opportunities for Minnesota youth to see themselves and others in the pages, to make new connections, and to engage and enjoy the world of reading.
